Impromptu was composed by Peter Nuttall in 1975. This was one of my favourite pieces when I started learning Guitar and performed it for my Grade 4 exam back in 2000! We were given the opportunity to record at St Mary the Virgin’s Church in Erwarton, Suffolk, which is an amazing venue. A church has stood here since the 13th Century and rumour has it that Anne Boleyns heart is buried under the organ.
